WPPeed all over.

Hope none of you are dithering over a job offer from any WPP owned agency:

Wouldn't it be nice if a top agency came out and said "Fuck the credit crunch: we're doing great and we're hiring".

If anyone knows of any behaviour of this kind, please share it. It's good to talk.

It's a difficult one this. I think that an agency will always hire someone (okay maybe not WWP ones) if they are BRILLIANT, and i mean like that good. It's about getting the best talent in to your agency, everyone is in competition, it seems like the sort of industry where you will break the rules a bit if it means you get someone brilliant in. But that's just my perception maybe that's not true.

What do you think mate?

Good post btw!

Personally i thinks it's complete bollocks, shouldn't advertsing agencies always be on the look out for the best talent out there? And this isn't just relevant to creatives - surely people get hired because they improve the company they work for, or make them money.

Seems like real inward thinking to me, but then that's just my opinion.
